Workshops
We work extensively with schools and education settings to help young people from 2 – 25 years and their teachers, engage with growing. Our aim is to inspire and practically show the next generation how to grow and succeed in maintaining and developing gardens of their own.

Edible Playgrounds has burst into life in Cardiff schools!
Trees for Cities’ Edible Playgrounds programme offers a lively, engaging, multi-sensory way to teach children about growing and eating healthy food. Grow Cardiff is partnering with Trees for Cities to deliver Edible Playgrounds across primary schools in Cardiff.

We have delivered 23 Edible Playground projects in Cardiff
Using a whole school approach over 12 months, we provide hands-on training to teachers and children. Through our support, schools can independently and successfully sustain a productive, biodiverse garden, linked to the new curriculum for Wales.
